I am helping out a buddy of mine with an 87.
He previously had a TT 5.6 chip and made a few changes (IC, Turbo etc). So, he decided to go to an SD chip to save on the MAF upgrade.

So, the order is placed for the new set-up, SD chip. It shows up in 3 days.
We plug it in, update the files per the instructions, and DAMNIT!
The car runs smooth as glass, right from the start.

But wait . . . .
We take the car out for a spin, set the alky to the specified value for the set-up, and take it to 22 PSI.
No KR, AFR 10.8, pretty damn solid, out of the box.
So, we take it to 25 PSI boost.
Still No KR, AFR 10.8, WTH?
You absolutely NAILED the chip, again!

So, now my buddy’s car is going to be faster than mine.
