Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base is starting to look like an OASIS! The desert that use to be is now green, hill side and all.

And now tornados are touching down too, we just received another Tornado warning today. It's gettin crazy fellas!

rain what rain here in glendale az were starting to hand out life preservers I got a bass boat in the back yard I had to throw out the anchor at least with snow you can ski the waters getting deep but can't start the motors yet so alass no skiing yet hahah
oh for you jarheads tornados, rain, ruff surf,, thats just an afternoon walk on the beach messdutys the b!tch

This torrential SoCal rain is totally out of control. I cant take it anymore. This has got to be more rainfall than washington and oregon combined in a full year.
My car is now a mud/cow****sicle. I live right above a bunch of farmland (who knew there was such a thing in socal). I have to take Euclid south to get to the freeways that take me to work. Euclid runs 6 miles south through what has to be the last remaining farmland in SoCal. Instead of putting up a sign way ahead, they just block off Euclid, right where it hits the freeway, cause the flooding has damaged the road. So they have some detour signs which I took. This detour leads me into farmland, and every road is full of flowing creeks and flooded with mud and the asphalt is breaking up everywhere. One detour sign leads to another, and to another, cause every road is blocked off. I end up going in a 15 mile circle, and end up right where I started. What sucks, is all this flooding everywhere that I was forced to drive through, is filled with cow**** runoff. This whole area is nothing but cowfarms. So now my car is covered with and reeks of cow****, and I dont have a damn hose to clean it off here at work. I wonder how infested my car is with E-coli and parasites now.

Vaders, you trying to catch the 405? I'm suprised there is any farm land left there as well (you talking Eucild in OC or in Chino area?). My son is still in So Cal and he is crying about it also, but I remember back in "69 that it rained the entire month of January and February. EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!. It was the typical constant drissle So Cal style, but wreaked everything around. We have had it pretty strong up here as well, but not like you guys have this year. Hang in there, the arks are nearly done.
