Dash wiper switch to colum wiper switch swap

hello guys i dont have a buick but its drivetrain is out of a 87 GN so i am half way there anyways this is the help i need i have 1980 Monte Carlo with a GN drivetrain my interiror is stock MC and was thinking of swaping out the dash and steering colum for a newer 87 MC dash but the wiper switch is on the colum and my car has the on the dash now how do i convert it over to the colum switch type and what other parts wil i need PLEASE HELP ASAP

Not positive about this BUT it should be just a simple matter of routing the wires that currently run to your dash switch to the wires coming off of a column switch. IF you don't have a variable speed motor you would need to run an entirely new wire for that function. Not sure about the wiper motor, but I don't THINK it would need to be replaced in order to run variable speed. If it does it shouldn't be hard to find a decent one on the Bay or at a local yard.

But I could be wrong.
