I HAVE TO TAKE AN EMISSIONS TEST THIS SATURDAY AND I WANTED TO KNOW IF I RUN DENATURED ALCOHOL 100 PERCENT WILL MY HYDROCARBON BE REALLY LOW AND DO I HAVE TO TURN UP THE FUEL PRESSURE AND IF SO TO WHAT PSI

Please turn the cap locks off, my ears are hurting:D . What kind of modifications have been done to your vehicle? I suspect that if you run denatured, it won't hurt anything. But if you were running a 50/50 mixture, you can stay with that. Since alcohol is a fuel, if you inject too much, it will drive HC and CO up and NOx down. What kind of boost has your car seen during the e-test. I suggest turning the alky on later than earlier, as this will attempt to help bring the NOx down. But still need some more info.

well the only mods that i have done to this car is a pte 93 octane, chip, rjc boost controller,i put a new cat on it too. HC standards in chicago for a 87 gn is 2.00 i came in at 2.63 everything else it passed. .i dont know what to do the car is stock everywhere else and i dont have the stock chip .are gns supposed to run like they have a slight miss i put a autozone coil pack and module on too 2 yrs ago and i have a new ac delco 02 sensor. after i failed i used some gm top engine cleaner i havent gone back to retest it yet .

Even though all the other emissions came in, what are the specs and actual readings?
