Determining Pressure regulator boost valve size

How do I know what size boost valve is installed in the pressure regulator valve system? Is it just a matter of measuring the boost valve OD (item 222)? I removed a valve that measured .531" OD and installed the CK valve. Not sure what size it is until I measure it but need to know if that is the way to tell?

Is the bigger the valve the better?

Yes larger = higher boost pressures.
There're .423", .471", .500", .530", .555" & .570" TV boost valves.

There're .283", .296", .300" & .400" Low/Reverse boost valves.
