Detuning a drag car (sort of)

You'll be fine with that TT chip as far as changing to a translator and LS1 maf. I would check all your vacuum lines for any leaks and of course the spring cleaning items!

Did you check the fuel pressure?Sounds like the car is not getting fuel.
(engine is sputtering badly as I gas it).Maybe out of gas or bad fuel pump.

Definately not out of gas, the motor was showing correct fuel pressure at idle... may need to check the engine under load.

One other possibility is your ECM is starting to go bad, they don't always set a code when going bad either. A while back my GN acted the same with the stumbling and stuff. I had replaced just about every sensor that you could think of, adjusted everything correctly etc....found out it was the ECM.
