Unfortunely both dates coinside with a local Buick event:(

On May 8th the LSPBC has there monthly race night at Redline (event moved to Saturdays this year) and on the 15th (if it rains on the 8th) our club has our local car show in North Plano.

Sounds like a nice event, you may still get a few Buicks to show on the 8th but we hope they come to Redline. Sorry

Good luck with your event.

David Newton
LSPBC Vice-Pres.

Sorry, we talked w/ sanger and we both agreed on this date cause we felt it would be best.:(

We will be having another 3months after this one so if ya'll cant make it out to this 1 maybe you can come to the next.

Will do. If we end up changing for some reason i will let ya'll know first thing.

Might go as long as the inspection, regis, tags rule is enforced this time.

I like the classes. This way you can step it up or slow it down to run whatever class you want but you'll need to dial your car in and be right on the bubble.
What happens if you go faster than your class? Loose?

I like watching the pro tree racing but will kill some of these turbo cars off the line. That will be interesting to watch.

I agree on the tag/registration rule. These should be real street cars. Can you go over the rules for this type stuff?

I hate to miss the Buick event, sorry David, but running Stangs and F bodies sounds more funner...haaa

Thats cool... and I hate to let the cat out of the bag buttttttttt

we will have a points system this year with big (scratch that) HUGE money at the end of the year besides what can be won each month!:)

It may even be a moot point.... as it stands right now only our first month (April) will be on a Saturday night we could go back to Fridays my May so then we could make both events.

Redline has changed there schedule for April, there Regular program will be on a Friday night and Test n Tune on Saturday nights this is an experiment by the track if it doesn't work out we will go back to Fridays starting in May.

So stay tuned. :)

Well its this saturday. There is going to be TONS of people comming and TONS of competition. So come out and have a good time. We are going to try and inforce the rules to every extent we have, but we cannot guarentee that we will catch everything so be sure you read the rules of your class to make sure you qualify. I hope to see some of ya'll out there having a good time as its going to be a VERY good day.

Hope you guys have a good event sorry I and most Buicks won't be able to make it, we will be at Redline for our monthly race.

I'm sure you will draw a few Buicks those that don't participate in our club event or are not members.

Remember Buick guys we pay out after 8 races (full season) 1000.00 to first , 500.00 to second & 250.00 to third in points besides our payout each month of 125.00, 75.00, 50.00 & 50.00.

Hope yall have a good event.

Take care.

:)

Besides that KOTH is running at redline this saturday.Track will be hooking pretty good I think.I pulled a 1.41 60' last time!

If you go faster then your class is set then its a loss. All classes will get 2 qualifying rounds to run their best time. after all of the qualifying rounds the ladder will be set for each class. Its single elimination.

Curtesy staging will be a rule. If you do not you automatically red light as the lights will be set on auto. If you dont know what curtesy staging is, it is where the first person pulls up and lights the first light. then they wait for the other racer to light theres up then you pull up and light both lights.

if you would like to go over the rules here is the site w/ all the rules on them.
