Did Boyd Coddington ever build a T Type???

Hey I was just cruising for T types on ebay today, and found a pretty sweet one so I asked him a few questions and what not. I got an email back from him and in his email it said he was Boyd Coddington of "American Hot Rod" fame. Something sounds fishy, I don't know if he changed his name in the email so people would think it was done professionally or what the deal is. And I'm pretty sure his shop isn't located in Missouri either.
