Guys,

Any negatives, differences between a SS THDP and a mild steel THDP other than the obvious?

I have an oppurtunity to purchase a mild steel THDP at a good price and was wondering if I should hold out for a SS.

TIA!

Mild steel is slightly lighter, but it doesnt have the durability or the high heat capabilities that the stainless offers. Besides mild steel will also rust not only on the outside, but on the inside.
For the extra money you spend to get the stainless, you will also get the piece of mind that it will outlast all of us and that it could potentially be the last down pipe you will have to buy.

I've had the mild steel and now have stainless. Wait for the stainless
