A scanmaster is a small box on your dash that shows your engine data from the sensors and you can chose what you want to watch. A wide band is a highly accurate oxygen sensor that can be used to view rich/leanness on a scale from 8-20:1 air fuel ratio on a separate gauge or through your scanmaster.
In order to get the stock computer to read the wide band data through the scanmaster you need another device called a power logger. Once you have a power logger you can buy a Chip that can use the wide band data to control the a/f ratio from programming the chip by using the throttle with the car not running.
WIdeband is around $200 with external gauge extra
powerlogger is around $260
chip is $129
