55s are up there in my favorite cars. very clean look you have with it. I also would like to know what you have for a drivetrain.

Thanks!

Beautiful!! Details on the drive train?

6.0 LSX w/ a mild cam, dual exh, cai, Trailblazer converter, 4L65E trans and a Ford 9" w/ 3.50 gears/locker.

No road miles yet. Have to get the folks satisfied at Hagerty, for $50K coverage...
Engine has 15K on it, as does the trans.[H2 Hummer] Rear end is all new.

Should be a hoot to drive.
I'm done w/ the show car stuff... This one is a driver, and will hopefully see several 1000 a yr.

That should be a kick in the pants to run around in! Love the look and stance. Good luck with the Haggerty folks. Jon

That's one fine car, def. one of my favorites of all times.

Can you please post more pictures, thanks and a big congrats!!!

I wondered when you were gonna admit it.

I see your posts on "tri five"
thought maybe you were ashamed! LOL
nice ride!!!!!

I've had this for close to 30 yrs

That thing is beautiful! I love the paint combo and the stance. Do you have the stock ECM in it? Should be pretty much a trouble-free new Chevy as far as driving it..nice!

The PCM is the 1 that came w/ the engine/trans. I bought a harness from Howell.

My bud and I are doing the tuning. LOTS of parameters to look at!
Given it was a "smogger" to begin with, there's LOTS of controls that need changed, deleted, etc.
We spent about 2 hrs last nite with getting cold start and idle close. [Still seeing ltft's too hi..More data logs and tweaking there].

Once it's right, there's little to keep up with for monitoring, changing.
It's equipped w/ a wideband, so seeing what's going on is relatively easy.

All I lack, is finishing up!!:D

Love the 55. I've told my dad for years that I wish I had his 55 from my youth. Got a pic of me at 3 standing on the fender.

Cool car. Love the modern engine set-ups in the vintage old cars! Bet that thing will be super fun to drive. :)

Doesn't always have to be a black regal lol

Chuck,

That is a sweet ride. Don't matter how fast it is. Just cruise around in that and enjoy the ride ;)

Sweet ride!

I've been hunting for a decent 56 to build for my dad... It's his all time favorite "dream car" ....

Post more pics when you have time!
