Hey guys. Happy Fathers Day to everyone.

I have a question. Since converting to GNX dashboard, I wanted an extra boost gauge, which goes beyond 15 psi (limit on factory GNX gauge) and is easier to see. So I decided on AutoMeter digital boost gauge since I figured it is the easiest to read at a quick glance.

I installed a T vacuum fitting so both gauges work.

I believe that AutoMeter gauge is a little "slow". When factory gauge shows less than 5 PSI, AutoMeter shows 0. During the WOT, both gauges read about the same, I believe.

Does it make any sense?

I have neither so this is all pure guess...how long is the vacuum hose from the T to the sensor. Ive heard of people saying that to long of a hose give you a delayed reading. But at the same time, I would tend to believe the new gauge vs the old tired factory gauge. One was built for accuracy and top race teams and one was built to show a change in pressure to everyday people in the late 80's...At least you bought a quality gauge.
