Dimmer switch renewal

Hi,

what is the right procedure to replace the dimmer switch in 87´GN. Actually, I mean how to lower the steering to achieve the nuts etc. of the switch?

Hi,
thanks, but I got the right procedure from my finnish friend how to drop the steering tube/axle to replace the headlight dimmer switch in GN.
I received the new dimmer switch from RockAuto today. Fine service!
