direct scan and translator

Does directscan show WOT timing changes when you change timing in the translator plus box? I have changed WOT timing by 4 degrees and the base at 2 degrees. The chip is a translator chip 23/21 for pump and alky. Looking at the DS file I expected to see the spark advance to be 27 degrees at WOT in 3rd and 4th and 25 in 1st and 2nd. However it was 23 degrees through all the gears. Should I see the the spark advance differences, via DS, when I increase timing in the TRANS+ box? I even tried upping the WOT fuel by 6% but the 02's did not change at all. However all the extras options within the chip work TCC lock at WOT, open loop at idle, etc.. TIA

No, you wont see any timing changes made by the Translator.
Remember, the Translator timing changes are made after the ECM (directly into the spark module).

What you see on DS is only the timing commanded by the main timing table in the chip.
