I've made a few street passes with Direct Scan logging data on a fresh motor (just passed the 500 mile threshold) and loaded some files to Excel to review. Aside from some rediculous knock retard numbers on one pass (23 deg at 4300 rpm in 2nd), I noticed my HP, Torque and Accel numbers don't seem to align with the RPM. For example, I achieved my highest readings 3-4 frames after I backed off the throttle. I can see my TPS drop to .44, but the the HP and Torque numbers keep climbing afterward even as the RPM drop.

Is there a glitch in Direct Scan that skews these data off their time slots that anyone else has experienced?

I'm just trying to get the car dialed in enough by just making short blasts here and there before wasting good money at the track on a crappy running car. I'm only running 15psi boost and 1 gal Toluene/9 gals gasoline at the moment.

Direct Scan does not have an accelerometer. Therefore all of the items you mentioned above are nothing more than a "swag" that the software makes.
There is absolutely no relationship to reality when it comes to the HP, torque, accel numbers.
Without an accelermoter these items are pretty much nothing more than wallpaper.
DO NOT USE THEM.

Other than that DS is still one of the premier tools, but now that Power Logger is on the streets, things are even better!!
