Direct Scan wont read .42-.44 tps

I had another post concerning my TPS not reading .44 ,I would go to adjust it and it would go from .40 to .48 without anything in between SO I replaced the tps with a brand new one and was using my DS to set it up and the same thing it wont read .44, So just for the heck of it I got out my volt meter and tried to adjust it again and got .44 with no problem on the voltmeter then I looked at my DS and it showed .40 I never had this problem with DS before It always read the correct .44 at Idle and 4.76 at wot Any Ideas ?? This ones really got me

DS is seeing the number the ecm is using, the ecm filters things and recalculates things, so the number may vary.
Close the hood, and go forra drive... <G>

From what I remember since I bought the DS which is about 2 years now I have never seen it skip voltage like that and i am now battleing a bad tip in stumble that is most likely related to it, Even if I give it a little throttle it skips from .40 to .48 It's as if it's rounding it off to the closest .08

Is it only skipping this particualr number? Is is skipping any other numbers? Like 1.40v then 1.48v?

I just checked it's only reading in increments of .08 could my DS software have a bug in it? It used to read just fine.

It must be something with my directscan interface module or my ECM because my MPH also only was reading increments of 4 mph but when tested on another car with the same laptop ALL the readings including tps and mph read in single increments reading correct .44 tps. Any Ideas on either ECM or DS module

Well after disconnectiing the ecm and directscan plug and moving the DS hardware box around it began to read correctly Not sure why musta been a loose connection but all data was always displayed on the laptop just not with single increments. Strange but it works fine now
