i have a hv timing cover. which spring should I use. and how should i make use of them in future applications.

I took apart my stock front cover and oil pump. I got some information on ruggles modifactions to the stock pumps. It must be pre SFI because the pic of the pump does not look like mine. It requires the making of a 1/8 thick plate and some drilling into the pump. I dont see how this plate can work for our applications. They also want to drill smaller holes for the cam bearings and turn the stock holes out of the oil feed. This will elminate "internal oil leaks". This I think is a good idea. The reason they had the cam oiling holes so large is that sludge buildup over time would plug up a smaller hole. If you change your oil regularly you won't have to worry about that. But If I have this done I don't think I want alot of oil pressure. So I am back to square one. Do I go with a HV cover with stock pump and spring and a booster plate or no booster plate witht the smaller oiling holes in the cam beargins.
