Do I need to take my trans out for a TC swap?

Just looking for opinions or ideas. Didnt know if I could slide it back far enough to change it or not.

if you pull out the driveshaft and loosen the x member it can be done on the tranny jack without putting it on the ground.all depends on how crafty you are .
