Here are a few of my car from last year(2003 season)before I painted the front bumper and was still running a 3.08 rear gear. Should be quicker next year after I fix all the little problems that showed up during this season.
This year I went to 3.42 gears and 83# injectors which presented their own tuning problems during the first part of the year. After starting to get a hold on that the converter took a dump, the transmission case cracked in several places(including internally), the valve springs went away(not letting the motor go past 5500rpm and losing power into 3rd gear if I shifted too high out of 2nd gear), the fuel pump started acting up. Not to mention the time I was down while switching all the tubular front end stuff back to stock because the coilovers caused cracks in the front end and the fenders were starting to buckle. Fortunatly, aside from the fenders there was no real damage done.
I took care of the trans so far and am in the process of replacing the pump and relocating it in the hopes of a longer pump life and I'm working on changing the valvesprings along with looking the motor over for next season(ie taking a look in the bottom end, a little excessive maybe but I'd rather find a problem now rather than ruin my season which usually consists of several hundred passes).
With a little luck, next year should return some really good numbers for the combination I'm running - hopefully I can be more consistant and do better in the points
