Does Methanol Go Bad?

I Have A 5 Gallon Pail Of Unopened Methanol . Does Anyone Know If It Would Still Be Good. Thanks Steve

meth goes bad because it absorbs water,

closed i would think it should be fine as long as it didnt eat the container

If its clear, chances are its ok.
