I pulled my engine when I got home from Norwalk and shipped it out (6/6/08)to Don Cruz to be freshened up. In the mean time, I sent my heads to Tom at Champion Racing Heads for repairs. After inspection we found that there were several things that needed to be done before I could make the next race.
We had to disassemble, inspect, coordinate all the new parts, and rebuild it in a little over three weeks to give me enough time to tune up the new setup and make the TSM race at BPG.

Fast forward to (7/4/08), I made the trip down to Tampa and picked up my engine at Don's house. We got back installed it yesterday (7/6/08).

All these vendors stepped up big time to make this happen quickly!!

Don Cruz getting the block prepped and assembled
Dan at DLS getting the new engine parts out
Tom at Champion Racing Heads for the new custom TSM heads and intake
Holly at Hartline Performance

Thanks to all of you. Engine is in the car and should be running tonight! Three weeks before BPG!

Cool, looks like you're on schedule for the 20th.

Otto that car and Jason's motor would make a fine match.

Yes sir, all new heads ready for action! The old unported heads are history.

I like the extra aluminum around the base of the new Champion castings!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck with hearing the sounds of sweet 109 orchestra tonight.

WELL DID YOU FIRE IT UP YET ?:D

Fired up and ready to go!! She purrs like a kitten and revs like a lion on steroids..

Started the car up Tuesday afternoon decided to drive it to the track (20 miles each way) and make some test n tune passes. The drive was nice had the sunroof back and enjoyed the ride. Got to the track and checked out everything while it was cooling down. Made three low boost passes and everything was great! Watched a few friends make some passes then loaded up and drove home again. You can't beat having a 9 second STREET car!!

Thanks again Don, Champion, Hartline, and DLS..
