door panels

I wondering if anyone knew the best way to take off the upper door panels and outer trim on the panel on my Limited T. I would like to refinish the outer chrome trim (chipping at the moment). Any thoughts on the best way to refinish those pieces would also be appreciated.

I dont know about refinishing. But on my dads Limited, when they redid the upper panels, they removed the peeling chrome trim and just ran a double stitch in the material in the same path as the chrome trim. Looks factory.......... can post pics if needed. HTH
