Door sill kickplate

the kickplate "body by fisher" has a few waterspot looking stains on it...i've tried never dull, metal polish and can't get them off
other than those spots they are very clean
any tips?

On my sill plates, I used the finest steel wool I could get. The plates were dull when I bought the car. Used the steel wool and they shined up nicely.
