Door speakers for CS2

The door speakers near my ankle in the GN.....

Is there something special about them or will any replacement 5.25 speaker work?

I ask as they never seem to be very loud. Are they more for bass?

Is there some type of crossover in use?

The 5 1/4" door speakers are full range.Means no tweeter only woofer.The dash and door speakers are wired together if I remember correctly.I would just bypass the dash speakers for now and get a 2-way 51/4"s atleast.If you really wanted good sound,I would go with a component set and put the tweets in the dash and speakers in the door so it would not be seen.Would sound killer!
