I've been reading Toklien books.

I have black thick rimmed glasses.

I teach. (You have to be a little bit dork to teach.)

I have a boy's haircut. (But growing back, slow and steady.)

And I have played Dungeons and Dragons. But not this third edition crap. Feats my azz. I'm an old school 1st edition guy.

Trying to home learn assembly language to develope better ecm code for my GN. It's bad enough being addicted to the mechanics of them, but the code end has been addictive to me. Been working on the GN/Syclone code for amost 5 years now.......

I'd say in most peoples opinions I'm a dork because of my automotive obsession. I think they called us "car dorks" in HS. Now I call those people "pizza dude".

I'm with Bruce on this one...stink'in user adjustable code for spool fuel, WB WOT fuel, timing and shift light is just addictive once you get started, thank goodness I'm finished with it until I dream up the next patch to code....so I'm also a TR chip assembly code dork 20/18 psi, 20/18 timing, on 93 octane no knock, must be doing something right

You really ought to try the 60 code/ 749 ecm. I took and rewrote the syclone 16K .bin file, into a 32K format, so there's all the room in the world to rewrite things. No to mention you can clear out some of the main routines <G>

I quit an IT Management position with an $82,000 salary to crew and engineer for a Pro Mod team for $15,000 a year.

Half Life 2

I work in a server room with a few other guys. Yesterday one of the IT staff brought in the box for half life 2 and I was like cool a cam lobe!! They were like you big dork thats half life 2
Sometimes it's just fun to point out how silly things look or where that idea came from. Half Life programmer in a V-TEC.
