Down Pipe Gasket

Ok heres the deal I had a nice Gasket I got from ATR (As we all know there gone for ever)
Anyway I change turbos and resued the gasket it it didnt work the 2nd time as exspected.
So I was told to just us Coper RTV I did this the 2nd and 3rd times it keeps blowing out at the same place near the Waisgate hole. I am using an external gate also. (Dont know if that maters)
Anyway PERMITEX IS NOT WORKING!

Dose anyone know of a place that stocks the downpipe or I am guessin there called turbo Elbow or waistgate gaskets?? Or have a GM P/N I can order one with???

I played hell finding the 1st one guess I should have gotten 2 since I know I cant leave anything alone lol.

I have personally never used a gasket. One did not come from the factory on the car so you would not find one there. You might want to contact SCE. If they can get you a part number you should be able to orderr from places like full throttle and speed. You might want to call Mike therre he may be able to ge one. Also contact Weber racing. You can get their number on line. Call them and I am sure they can find you what you want

I'd think you might be able to get a gasket like this from any of the major vendors.

Thats very close but not like the one I had
The one I had, Had 2 holes one big and one small for the waistgate hole

Maybe you could just buy a sheet of high temp material and make your own using your existing gasket as a pattern. Maybe someone like Mr. Gasket or McMaster-Carr sells something you can use for this application.

I believe SE turbo does have one for an external gate too. Give them a call.
I bet Jason @ RJC has them too

Here is a photo of the gasket I had you can see where when it was reused it burned threw I think this was because a small part of it stuck to the old turbo when it was removed from it before going on the new one.

I hit it with a flat file and it looks like the outer flange may be just a little bit high (I should say was lol) I filed it till it was all the same (Man that took like 2 hours lol)

Would still like to get a gasket I put it together for now with Copper Crap (hate rtv) till I can get the gasket I need.
