Well I though of that also so I had downpipe off numerous times & checked alignment & it looke dto be perfect or close to it to me..you could see a carborn ring around it that looked like a perfect seal but I cleaned it & checked it again..same results..no other changes & ran it numerous nights..I wish I could find a problem with it..I know back when I bought it some were sticking but mine doesnt seem to be sticking & wouldnt I see a spike or no boost if it was sticking? I would think its like a bigger cam or too big of an exhaust on a regular car..my 60 ft showed it after the pipe..maybe I need another pipe to try or something..Originally posted by Nick Micale
If your car did in fact slow down, especially at the bottom end, it is NOT because the DP flows better. You have a puck alignment problem. It could be the puck or the turbo housing alignment.
A bigger, more free flowing exhaust will NOT slow down a turbo car!
