Downpipes?

Just bought a th downpipe.Did not come with any gaskets though.No leaks at the top by turbo but there is a small leak where the downpipe meets thesingleshot exhaust i have.if i dont need a gasket will the small leak i have create a problem???????????

the only problem i see is the fumes comming in the car whn not moving
