Downsizing vacuum lines

I am in the process of replacing my vacuum lines with silicone lines. In some cases it just feels like the seal will be better using the next size smaller line. For instance, the line to the MAP sensor from the factory is 6mm, but a 4mm line fits nice and tight. In most cases Thai shouldn't be a problem right? I can see if I was running vac brakes or the pcv I wouldn't want to change, but sensors and boost gauge should work?

Should be fine. It's just a signal line, they don't really move a lot of air. (provided they don't suck shut, that is)

Regardless of how tight they fit...you should zip tie them all.

yep all zip tied....at least those that i can...kinda tight on a few on the vac block
