I had the ATR copper gasket, but it did not look too good when I took it apart. I am leaning towards using just Copper RTV. Let me know some of your experiences with this. TIA

Oct 1, 2002 #2 U UNGN Can't Re- Member Joined May 24, 2001 Messages 14,029 Lap both surfaces flat and use the copper gasket. (I use a 6" sharpening stone that was $2 at the hardware store) I can't see how this would leak (Unless your exhaust system has a ton of backpressure)
