drivers side motor mount on the block.

I went and picked up the mounts for my 87 block. I had the motor and trans sent to me, so I dont know what the mounts looked like on the block. I bolt on the passengers side I have 1/8 inch clearence. I bolt on the drivers side and it hits the Block! There has to be a plate or something that goes on there. To space the mount out. I have looked in all the books and it does not say anything about going inbetween the mount and the block. I would be great If anyone could give me a heads up on these mount. I even took it back and bought another one and it still does the same thing. I am doing a hybrid swap so if that tells you guys why I don't know anything about this.

The two sides are different...The mounts may look the same, but they are different...Make sure that you put them on the correct sides...

It does not matter which side you put the drivers side motor mount on it still hits the block. Is there a chance that that they gave us early buick mounts? I went to two different places and they gave me the same mount for the drivers side. If any one could send some pictures of the mounts on the block That would be great! I am just about to put some washers to make the stupid thing fit!
