I have been using Jeremy's boot disk on my old laptop but now my new one does not have a floppy. What are my alternatives? Can I make it work?
Thanks
Sal

If using XP is the reaosn you were using a boot disk from floppy....then I assume your new PC has a CD or DVD rom drive?
Make a copy of the floppy you have and put it on CD, then change the Bios on the PC to boot first from the CD/DVD drive.

Otherwise, get the DS software off the floppy and install on the new PC by way of emailing it to yourself from a PC that has a floppy or something or copying it to CD on another machine that has both.

OK. Perfect that is what I am going to do. Now when I want to save a DS file I just recorded is it going to go to the hardrive? How do I set that up?
Thanks for the help

Hmm, that depends if the hardrive is recognized if you are booting from the CD rom....that might be a problem. Most laptops have an external floppy also that you can purchase as an option if its a new PC from a manufacturer...if you bought a used laptop, then have to watch eBay for an external floppy for it.
If the harddrive is recognized after booting from the CD, then just pick that drive from the DS "Save File" screen before entering in the save file name.
