what does that mean when the engine is locked to the trans and is spinning at equel rpm togather so its 1:1

how do you know when the trans locks

and does it have to do with over drive

on a stock transmission and TC does it have lock up or how is it set

The torque converter has a clutch inside that locks the engine output speed to trans. 1:1
Some trans TC's lock in 2nd,3rd,& 4th. Some only in 4th.
Should be able to feel the engine speed drop when the TCC locks.
