E-85 vs Alky

Here are my thoughts since I have been contemplating alky vs E85.

My car is just a toy but not a drag car. With that being said we have the new regal turbo and we tried E85 in it and the fuel mileage dropped about 20% or more. The next negative I found is that I live 10 miles from a ethanol plant in the middle of the corn belt. So guess how many E85 fueling stations we have within 20 miles? One!!!

I have decided to go with Julio's kit. Methanol is much easier to get than E85 for me.

I run both. E85 and Alky. The car used to run on gasoline and alky. Didn't make sense to remove the alky kit when I switched to E85.

The alky consumption is pretty low. Just a little bit to cool the charge.
