You probably wouldn't notice any if your torque converter was matched to your combo. The S and SP housings are more ideal for high psi, if you're thinking of running pump gas or even Alky and low 20's, it's more ideal for you to stay with the E cover with that sized turbo.
I've seen many turbos swapped on cars and dyno tested. There has been no proof bigger is better. It may be but not at the pressure ratios we ran them at. If you're looking to waste $ and have more aggravation with the install go with the larger housings
