Tuned for both would the e85 ve numbers look to be 30% higher than that of race gas. Say in the upper cells on gas they are in the upper 50's to low 60's would e85 be in the 80-90 range. Changing the fuel energy constant accordingly. 1 for gas and .68 for e85
 
No. The VE numbers should be the same. This is why the flex fuel sensor works so well. It basically adjusts the fuel energy constant without changing the VE table
 
How does the flex fuel sensor get wired in and what about parameter settings?

You don't have to use that sensor to run E-85. It is only needed when you are running a blend of E-85 and gasoline. Some of my customers just use a thumbwheel to swap from E-85 to pump gas. I know asloan had some sensors if you need one.
