Do any of you guys run E85? Just found E85 about 4 miles from base.

yes, its neat stuff. How old is the station that has it? I have heard that some stations (older ones?) use the same tank for kerosene in the winter and e85 in the summer. Also, older stations may have cruddy tanks. Around me most of the e85 stations were recently (a few years) built. I have had no issues (that I know of) with contamination.

I can hardly wait to turn the boost up on the new Clark/Broughton/Smithson powerplant!

Bob is kind of new. Wish I could run it on my car. Bob that thing is going to be a monster!!!!!!!

There are a few stations around so-cal. Very few. I know of one in Anaheim (right down the street from my house) and one in the La Mirada area (Valley View and Imperial). I have not seen either of these stations do anything but E85 and regular pump fuel. I'd love to go to E85 if there was more infrastructure around here. It's getting better but not sure if it is going to stay.

That would be cool, especially if you can cut the boost when it sees gas vs the e85.

That's going to be a nasty monster!!!!!!!! Bob. Hope you have some great meat hooks on the back lol

I have regular tires on the back at the moment, because I was babying the old engine last year.

The plan is either Toyo or BFG drag radials once these are bald.

Bob

I have the Toyo they hook real good

I'm in the process of converting my daily to E85. Bought the racetronix kit sender w/ pre installed 430 AN FIT hotwired Teflon/SS fuel lines. I'm very happy with the packaging and quality of their stuff I would definitely recommend.

I live real close to you there's also a brand new E85 station in Carlsbad up on palomar airport rd.

Side note, let's go racing man! I've been the only buick down at Qualcomm the last two events I need some backup!

Okay, we need to get together sometime. An that's cheaper than 15+ denatured alcohol from Lowes

Yea man for sure, how long till your car's back up and running? I've heard 100% methanol is the way to go as long as your pump is designed for it
