I realize the eDIST is not for firing LS1 coils in pairs.
but I need to resolve the clocking

Once the dips are set for three cylinders.
we have EST A, B,C, as our outputs.

So, if we have cylinders 1-2-3, and the firing order is 1-2-3.

The EST-A would go to cylinder #1, correct?.

1 would be the first during the first cam synch, and then 2-3 would be for the first two ref synchs, and then 1 would be again due.
True?.

Like John mentioned in the prior post, we're just using this to trigger his box.
TIA

Where does your cam sync signal occur? We'll figure it from there.

Also, there is no reason that LS1 coils can't be fired in pairs, FWIW.

Stock GN cam sensor set-up and timing,
25 ATDC #1.

Cool (on being able to fire them in pairs), that makes for an easy default, and easier figuring out things out since I can do the swap in steps.

As always I appreciate your help and support.

If the cam hits at 25 ATDC, then you want EST A to go to cylinders 1 and 4, that is correct.

Since the 3rd crank pulse after the cam pulse will be EST A, we have cam pulse, then crank pulse for 6 and 3, then another crank pulse for 5 and 2, and then the third one is for 1 and 4 again. Sounds like a plan to me. :D

Have fun with it!

I need to upgrade, badly!!! could one of you please email or pm me what's involved in swapping from a stock system to cnp?
