EGR valve/solenoid

In a quest to lower my BLMs, I am going over all of my vac lines again. The line that runs to the EGR valve and solenoid is cracked. One end of the vac line has a double connector, can I just use 2 separate lines or do I need this double connector? Does it restrict at all? If I do need this special configuration, where can I find one? None of the local stores have it including the dealer.

I just used two separate pieces of hose. One is 7/32, I forget the size of the other.

No you dont need thats double connector, that was made to speed up the production line when these cars were built.
