Since i have a TTCHip i just came to me. should i take off my EGR amd block it? or would this woun't do anything?

IMO- Leave the EGR alone. Messing with it is a waste of time and money as long as it works. My 2 cents. Brad

what if your putting together a motor should a person not put it on and bolt on a plate?? with the tt chip of coarse? and in my state we dont need to worry about emissions

I just added an AXiS chip yesterday, which turns off the EGR functionality. Thus, keeping that stuff in the engine bay isn't doing anything useful but wasting space and making the driver's side of the engine look cluttered. I bought the G-Body Parts EGR block-off plate and I'm about to remove the EGR assembly and install the plate. I think I've read most of the EGR-related topics on this site and it seems that I have to route some 7/32" hose (windshield washer fluid hose) from one end to a T-connector at the firewall...can anyone clarify with a good description or picture? It would be greatly appreciated!
