elec fan what cfm to go with

Before i put the motor back together i want to put a elec fan on the can it seems to run hot with the stock fan. I have a sperco front mount intercooler , this is probley why its getting hot i do have a 160 stat but does not help much. What elec fan sould i go with and if any one knows what cfm i should have the fan put out so i can look for one. I dont have much money left so be easy on me.

Fan off of a fiero, the one with the big white resistor.. run it on high all the time, exact same fan that is on 86/87 TRs

get it from a pick-u-part.. prolly about $25

I agree, I haven't seen an aftermarket fan that blows as hard as a stock 87 fan that's hotwired.

the spal dual fan setup does..

BUT.. it is TWO fans.. and, heh.. they pull so much juice off my friends car, for instance he has push is car through the staging lanes, if he starts it and turns it off, starts it and turns it off, eventually he'll kill his battery

and the fact they run ALOT of money..
