After I shut the car off the fan will run for a few mins. The car isn't hot and it'll do it if I just move the car out of the garage. It seems to be worse if it's raining or high humidity. I have the car in the car port right now and the fan kicked on and ran for about 10 mins. It hasn't moved since yesterday. I'm not sure where to start in fixing this. Is this common?

Fan delay relay.
Do what earl brown says, take it off, throw it as far as you can, then go and smash it with a hammer.
Drink beer, lots of beer!

Don't bother replacing it! Your car does not need the Fan Delay Relay. Think about it, what did they do before that blasted thing was invented? Besides, if you spend the $80 or so on a new one it will probably go bad like the original one did because of the location on the fender.

No, not replace.

remove, throw, throw again, smash with hammer, drink beers and never worry about it killing your battery in the middle of the night.

I think everyone that still has this relay should pull them off and send them to Earl, and Earl we want some video of what you really do with these relays.:wtf:

I have no love of these hoes....

......and fan delay relays fall into that same category. (along with buzzers)
