Want to know what year f-body car do i get one from and what else do i need to make this upgrade?

I used a Modine 951 radiator. There are many other Fbody ones that fit. The transmission lines will bend to fit. I had to change the upper radiator hose to a NAPA 7899. I used an 87 Cutlass V8 radiator hold down plate in order to secure the larger radiator when switching to electric fans. I also used a cut down driver side of the same radiator plate to secure the radiator when keeping the stock shroud and mechanical fan. Hope this helps. Brad

Brad covered the F body rad, and if you are looking for a set of fans I would pick up a set from a Dodge Intrepid. They move mad amounts of air and you can pick them up pretty inexpensively. I have never had experience with, or even seen anyone run an F body fan...

I also your the F body rad. Aluminum with plastic tanks. Great rad...car never runs higher then 160 all day with the dual fans.

Top shelf.

Ok say I get some dodge intrepid dual fans what else do I need ? Wiring? Harness ? Relays? To make them work properly?

ok ill go with the modine 951... what year intrepid? does it matter? and i read that single fan is better to go with less work!

I believe its any dual fans off any 99 and up dodge Intrepid,Concorde, or 300M they are all the same

We r on the same boat now I'm also wanting to know what else I need from caspers I need from from whatever plugs into the dodge fans and the rest to make them work maybe some one will jump in with this setup

thanx for that link just picked up some dual dodge fans and will order that dual fan harness from caspers in the pic i see the plug for the fans, the 2 relays, a power source, and some kind of other plug where am i suppose to plug that in at?

To the left of that pic is a link that says installation. just click it and it will tell you everything you need to know, but the other plug your talkin about going to the stock fan pigtail from the engine harness. That's why i posted the link on the bottom in case you have the hot air setup that doesn't have that pigtail.

i think the original fan used on the 86 and 87 turbocharged Buicks were the same as some Fieros.

ok checked out the link for the hotair setup and i looked at the harness needed and in the installation link it talks about splicing into a/c wires ? i dont have a/c in my ride and i also dont see that connector thats shown in the picture so how would i wire it up? i thought that harness somehow had a pin that gets plugged into the 87 ecm for electric fans and that was it

Send a message to John from Caspers. His name on here is GNVenom. Tell him your setup and he he'll be able to tell you what you need.

ok an update with some questions just recieved both harnesses got the fans installed in place i also have the dual dodge fans harness heres my first problem the factory connector wires on the fans are yellow green black black the harness i got from caspers is black black green yellow when both connectors hook up pretty much opposite, is that right ? or do i have to switch the wires around in the caspers connector? ok my next obstacle how do i wire up the 84/85 conversion 86/87 harness ? it plugs into the dual dodge fans harness then it has a relay a pink wire and a black wire the instructions tell me where the pink wire goes but not sure about the black wire with a pin on the end need help has anyone here installed these 2 harnesses? the instructions mention some black plug connector if the car is analog dash but i dont see that connector in my engine bay im really lost and cofused now

i just did mine last week but with a mark VII fan, with my relay i cut the casper connector off and put the connector from the fan on to the casper relay. So see which one is positive and negative on the fan connector and match them up on the relay. (hope i didnt confuse you) the black plug is over by the map sensor you can miss it... your dash is analog right?

Yes I have analog now when u say u cut off the caspers connector r u talking about big bulky 3 pin one that's on the 102066 harness? Well I shouldnt have to cut anything due to the fact that I also got the dual fan relay harness that plugs right in to power the dual fans ...... Did u splice the small gauge solid pink wire into the pink with a black stripe wire in the relay connector on the fender wall? Also I don't see that brown connector they show in the instructions can u possibly take a picture of it cuz I sure in he'll don't see it lol thanx
