Anybody using Autometer electric fuel pressure gauge? Likes and Dislikes? Any problems with install or is it a direct fit to the schrader valve? Thanks

Gage isn't as graduated as what I would like to have. Sending unit is kinda large. My only complaints.

I've had mine for a few months now..I'd agree with above statements too..Other than that, I like it..seems to work fine..matched up pretty well with other FP gauges, so I guess it's reasonably accurate...

I imagine the sending unit mounts to the fuel rail at the schrader valve. Does the sending unit's size make it difficult to install or is their interference problems with any of the sensors around it?

None at all..I used one of Kirban's adapters(for their on rail FP gauge) and have the sender pointing up at about 2 o'oclock if looking from front of car. The wires I put in a loom and zip tied to the fuel rail...

Hi ,
Kirban's rig looks a little unwieldly, but I guess it works. We have a lot of hood clearance, so another fabrication is possible, for sure. For instance, a high pressure flexible hose could work, with a tee and shrader valve attached. Or, a female shrader fitting, brazed to a piece of pipe and with the tee and shrader fitting, might look cleaner. Just a few thoughts...
