My rear driver side outer-most light is having issues.
It is the proper dual filament bulb.
When I turn on my lights it illuminates both filaments resulting in a very bright light as opposed to the other lights. When I depress the brake it stays the same but the other side illuminates both filaments as it's supposed to.
I pulled the connection and there are 4 wires to the plug. 2 black and 2 yellow. When I wiggled the connections the bulb went from dual illumination to single illumination and when I depressed the brake it did not illuminate.
I'm thinking that the wires are shot and that I should simply cut the wires and splice in some new wire to correct this issue.
Does this sound like the proper fix or am I missing something??
Please advise, this car is driving me crazy
