I'm in the market for an electronic boost controller that allows me to set the boost to a certain number and the box/controller maintains it. Sometimes I get so tired of the guessing game involved with boost control. One day in the heat it's X psi and another in the cool air it's X psi higher! I'd like a controller that will adjust the boost to the predetermined psi and keep it there no matter what the conditions are. I've read that the units with "fuzzy logic" seem to work best. What seems to to work well with our cars? TIA

I've got a Greddy Profec B Spec II. It doesn't allow you set an actual boost level, but you set a duty cycle percentage and it maintains whatever boost goes with that duty cycle. It takes a little bit of fiddling to get it set right, but so far it works well.
It also allows you to switch between 2 modes, or 2 different boost levels.
It was about $300, but I can't complain at all.

Innovative has the best. You can set it the way you describe, plus set up delays for full boost. Jack Cotton sells these for a good price.

The innovative one is good if you have an external gate, but if your using the stock type wastegate you might want something else.
