Elevation change and chip?

I did a search and didn't find the answer but did learn a fair bit about the different chips.
Anyway I bought a GN that has the Red Armstrong 93 chip in it. The previous owner lives where the elevation is around 1500' and I live where it's 2500'. Will this make a difference to the chip? Will it compensate for the change or do I have to get the chip modified?

For non-wide-open-throttle driving the chip will compensate. At WOT you will need to watch the boost and O2 sensor readings and tweak the boost and/or fuel pressure since you will not get as much air into the motor at 2500' and should be a little rich.
