Email solitation from tbS.com

Did a lot of others get an email asking you to sign up on turbobuicks.com? I did tonite, which I thought was wierd as I already am signed up on there.....hence the reason they know my email address.....

am I missing something here?

I did too and while I haven't posted there for awhile I do occasionally browse. I find it wierd that theywould ask also as I am signed up (can't remeber my user name though

i think that they got the members list of turbobuick.com and E-mailed every one on the list or at least a bunch of them, and are trying to get people to switch over. maby they know that this site has been having some problems and some people are unhappy and they are taking advantage of this?

i dont know, im just guessing. who knows bruce and the guy who owns the other site may be good friends.

I got one too and I'm also a member over there. I figured they're trying to boost traffic over there. I haven't checked in there in quite a while, just because there's a lot less traffic over there (though the "hybrids" forum is a cool feature that we don't have here!).

i agree with the assesment that they emailed people who belong to this site....kinda shady if you ask me....tb.com vs tbs.com shouldnt be a competition, i dunno guys, things seem to be headed down hill right now between the two sites....cant be good for the buick community though......
