Engine advice

Could someone in the know tell me an avg used engine and tranny price? Anyone recommend a rebuild from a shop in or near Ohio?

used 86/87 take outs.....1500 to 2500 depending on what you get.....1500 for a higher milage unit maybe missing a few things......2500 might get you a complete in better shape engine.
