Does the TTA have an engine ground on/by the turbo shield bracket like the GN does? I took my turbo off last night and did not notice one. Just curious.

I looked down there I did not see it. I see another ground that goes to the upper middle of the block. Below the air intake. I will take another look for the ground from under the car.

Follow the earth/negative cable from the battery and you will find it ... as stated lower bolt on the turbo shield bracket.

OK I just looked down from the top and did not see it. I will get down under the car and look.

Thanks

Sweet6 is correct. The ground on the TTA does not bolt to the turbo bracket like the GN. It bolts to the head just below the front of the intake.

Steve are you sure?? When I put my engine back together I remember asking a number of owners about this as mine originally was bolted to the head like you describe but I was told it should be on the bottom bolt of the heat-shield bracket ... however when I did install it on the bracket bolt the length of the ground wire seemed too long ... anyway that's where it still sits so guess I will have to move it one of these days :-(
